I'm currently taking orders for tailor-made knives, so if you want to work with me on a personal design, just email me your ideas and I'll quote you an estimate and time frame for the project.
One of the problems with doing one of a kind work is the delay in making and delivering the product. A customer interested in the work places an order and has to wait a considerable time before receiving it. It is possible to buy directly from the maker at the custom knife trade shows, but even then, it is difficult for the maker to create works and still meet his demand. I hope that the web will provide an alternative to this process. I am going to set aside time to make works that will be offered directly via my web site. These knives will be available for immediate delivery and will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis. When a knife is posted, I will contact the members on the list via email, attach a thumbnail photo of the knife and include hyperlinks to larger images. I am using a new electronic payment system called Paypal.
